Exclusive Interview With Randy Terrez

Hello OVW fans! Brian Cannon here with a very special interview. Since there wasn't a TV taping tonight due to the severe winter weather, I was able to talk with someone who will be involved in a big OVW Southern Tag Team Title match next week. He has been wrestling for 15 years, and considers himself "Lucha-dorable". He is one-half of TerreMex, and one-half of the OVW Southern Tag Team Champions, Randy Terrez!

BC: Randy, thanks for joining us on this brutally cold evening. Last week, you seemed annoyed at the fact that the Mexicutioner was clapping for your opponents in next week's OVW Southern Tag Team Title match, Robbie Walker & Adam Wylde. Not to mention, the 2 of you have seemed to argue and butt heads a lot recently. Is there some animosity between you two, or is it just a case of being on 2 different pages and hoping to get it together before the title defense?
RT:
Well...the last I checked, TerreMex was all about kickin' a** and taking names. Mex was a bit distracted being "Mr. Friendly" with two guys we are ready to go to war with. We need to stay focused and don't trust anyone...because every one of those guys in that locker room has their crosshairs locked on us. I've been doing this far too long to be dumb enough to drop my guard. Now, Mexicutioner and I are on the same page...don't question it. Yeah, he kinda lost it for us a couple of times and I had to redirect him on what counts, but when the battle begins, you can rest assured that this well-oiled machine will get the job done as we have in the past.

BC: Speaking of Walker & Wylde, they have quickly turned heads by winning the Nightmare Cup and becoming #1 contenders. What is your honest view of them?
RT:
Don't get me wrong, Walker and Wylde are good...real good...impressively good. They have a bright future ahead of them, and I will be the first to admit that they deserve an opportunity to challenge us for the titles. However? They need to get their heads out of the clouds long enough to realize that these belts are not on their waists, and that TerreMex won't just hand them over without a fight. And a fight is exactly what they will get...

BC:
What is the game plan going in to the tag title match? Walker & Wylde are talented, but some may argue they are still young. Do you think that helps or hurts you & Mex in coming up with strategy?
RT:
Game plan? Does a war general reveal his strategy? We have the strength, the speed, the experience, and the will to get the job done. Wylde and Walker are young, but young can either mean they will be inexperienced enough to make a mistake, or crazy enough to lay caution to the wind. Either way, I am ever watchful...and there are plenty of tricks up my sleeve if needed...

BC:
Randy, thanks for your time.

It sounds like Randy is focused and ready! Don't forget that the title match will now take place next Wednesday night (Feb. 25) at the Davis Arena for OVW TV #809. Will TerreMex retain the titles, or will Terrez & Mexicutioner take a "Walk on the Wylde Side"? We will see you at the show!
