This is the OVW Report for Wednesday, April 2, 2014. This episode can be seen online starting tomorrow at www.ovwrestling.com/tv. In this episode, the Bodyguy continues to wrestle with a new attitude, OVW Southern Tag Team Champions Dylan Bostic & the Mexicutioner are in action, Shiloh Jonze faces Eddie Diamond as fellow Marauder Raul LaMotta faces OVW TV Champion Melvin Maximus, plus more!

Without further ado:

Here we go...

Pre-Show Dark Matches:

Leon Shelly vs. "Party Starter" Bud Dwight.
Dwight locks up with Leon, but Leon keeps going to the ropes. Dwight hits Leon and throws him in the corner, but misses a charge. Leon delivers a back body drop to Dwight and slams him. Dwight fires back, hits a back body drop on Leon, and finishes him off with a reverse DDT for the 3.
WINNER: DWIGHT by pinfall.

Dapper Dan vs. Tony Gunn.
Dapper Dan seems scared to lock up. Gunn finally hits and chops him. Dan hits Gunn in the throat to get out of the corner, then stomps him. Gunn fires back and goes off the ropes, but runs into a back elbow. Dan chokes Gunn with his boot in the corner. He throws Gunn into the opposite corner and charges, but eats a boot. Gunn flapjacks Dan to the mat, and finishes him off with a reverse Russian leg sweep for the 3.
WINNER: GUNN by pinfall.

Deonta Davis & J. Best vs. "Primetime" Robbie Walker & Aaron Sky.
Deonta & Best attack Walker & Sky from behind. Best chokes Robbie and tags Deonta. Deonta clubs Robbie in the back and chokes him in the ropes. Robbie hits an enziguri and tags Aaron. Aaron hits a double axehandle off the top rope, followed by a flying clothesline and a dropkick. He dropkicks Best out of the ring, and then hits a double dropkick with Robbie to Deonta for the 3.
WINNERS: WALKER & SKY by pinfall.

That concludes tonight's pre-show dark matches. I always recommend watching the episode first on TV or online before reading the rest of the report. Again, you can check it out on OVW's official website late Thursday afternoon/evening at www.ovwrestling.com/tv and on WBNA ion-21 in the Louisville area Saturdays at 9AM and 10PM (check local listings).

Gilbert Corsey, Dean Hill, & Michael Titus are all on commentary with Shannon the Dude as the ring announcer.

NON-TITLE: OVW Southern Tag Team Champions Dylan Bostic & the Mexicutioner vs. "Primetime" Robbie Walker & Aaron Sky.
Dylan smacks Robbie in the corner and yells "Who Sucks Now?" He is answered with a forearm to the face. Mexicutioner comes in swinging, but Robbie ducks and dropkicks him. Aaron is tagged in, but gets double teamed in the corner. He is worked over for a bit until getting the tag back to Robbie. Robbie comes in on fire, but Mexicutioner breaks up a pin attempt. Mexicutioner throws Sky shoulder first into the turnbuckle. Mexicutioner & Bostic deliver the spinebuster/backstabber combo for the win.
WINNERS: MEXICUTIONER & BOSTIC by pinfall.
After the match, Bostic & Mexicutioner continue beating on Sky & Walker until Ali runs out with a chair.
Marcus Anthony's music hits and Timmy Danger has something important to say, distracting Ali. Ali gets hit from behind and is also the victim of a spinebuster/backstabber combo. Timmy says that Danny Davis isn't here tonight, he's dealing with his mother's lawyers in Boca Raton. He says that he will be successful against Jamin, Marcus will be successful against Howe, and Bostic & Mexicutioner will be successful as well.
He calls this the genesis of "Danger International".

The Bodyguy (w/Bodyguard) vs. "Party Starter" Bud Dwight.
Bodyguy takes out Dwight's leg from behind, because he was distracted by the Bodyguard. Dwight tries to come back, but his leg goes out as he tries to slam Bodyguy. Bodyguy locks on a Figure Four for the submission win.
WINNER: BODYGUY by submission.
After the match, the bodyguard grabs Dwight and the Bodyguy hits Dwight some more until Trailer Park Trash runs out with the kendo stick in hand.
He says he is actually in a good mood, because he has a match he wants. At the Sunday Night Special, they will meet in a First Blood match!

Gilbert Corsey brings out Lei'd Tapa and the man who came to her aid last week. She says it was indeed ether that was used to knock her out last week. She says Jessie Belle & Randy Royal didn't try to end her career, but her life, because ether is poison. She is still standing and will get a shot at the Women's Title on Sunday against Jessie Belle. She then introduces her "protector" Royal Red. Red says it is his job to protect the Queen of Rings in and out of the ring. He says he will be ringside Sunday to make sure nothing like that happens again.

Shiloh Jonze (w/Nick Dumeyer, Clint Poe, & Raul LaMotta) vs. Eddie F. Diamond.
EFD is on fire, taking it to Shiloh, but the Marauders get involved, distracting EFD and tripping him. EFD still fires back and hits the Soulja Boy Shuffle. He goes after Shiloh in the corner, but Raul had removed the top turnbuckle and Poe pushes Shiloh out of the way. EFD hits the exposed turnbuckle, and Shiloh locks in the Mandible Claw for the submission win.
WINNER: SHILOH by submission.
After the match, Shiloh tells Raul that he has another opportunity to prove his worth tonight, a TV Title match. Don't fail him!

Elvis Pridemoore vs. Paredyse.
Paredyse locks up with Elvis and throws him off his game by rubbing his chest, spanking his butt, and hitting a dropkick. He hits an arm drag and then gives him the butt butts in the corner. Elvis comes back with a spinning kic and a submission hold, but Paredyse fights out with slaps and chops. He then gives Elvis the Kiss of Death and twisting neckbreaker for the 3.
WINNER: PAREDYSE by pinfall.
After the match, the Pastor of Disaster attacks him with the "good book".
He then handcuffs him to the bottom rope and says there is no coincidence that the Special falls on the Sabbath day. He warned Paredyse and everybody for him not to come back. He will show him that he is nothing but a parasite come Sunday!

OVW TELEVISION TITLE: "Rudo" Raul LaMotta vs. "Mister Marvelous" Melvin Maximus (c).
Raul hides beside the entrance and ambushes Melvin as he comes through the curtain. He throws him into the ringpost and rolls him into the ring. He charges Melvin in the corner, but Melvin moves. Raul turns around into the Bearhug and has to submit.
WINNER and STILL OVW TV CHAMPION: MELVIN by submission.
After the match, Shiloh Jonze comes out with Nick Dumeyer & Clint Poe and says Raul is an old friend, like a brother, and even a tag champion with him at one time, but has failed him.
He tells Dumeyer to get a chair. He tells Raul to place his hands on the mat. He is going to smash his fingers, but Tony Gunn runs out with a bat.
He asks Raul if he is going to take Shiloh's bullying. He offers his hand, but Raul rolls out of the ring and rejoins Shiloh, Poe, & Dumeyer on the outside. Tony says he will get rid of the sickness known as the Marauders on Sunday.

Bobby Black vs. "Wrestling's Rockstar" Ryan Howe.
Black goes after Howe, but Howe swats him away like a gnat. Howe makes pretty quick work of him, making him submit to the Whammy Bar.
WINNER: HOWE by submission.
Timmy Danger & Marcus Anthony are at ringside. Danger distracts Howe, but as Marcus tries to attack from behind, Howe catches him in the Whammy Bar.
Danger hits Howe, and Howe goes back after Danger, but Marcus comes back and locks Howe in the Crimson Omen.
Jamin Olivencia runs out and chases Danger around the ring.
He traps him in the ring, but Marcus then goes after Jamin and locks him. Danger hits Jamin with Jamin's shoe and rips some of Jamin's clothes off. He says that Sunday at the Special, he will not be stripped, but he will strip Jamin of his dignity.

This ended the TV taping.

Post-Show Dark Matches:

Marcus Anthony (w/Timmy Danger) vs. "The Welsh Colossus" Rob Terry.
Rob & Marcus go back and forth, pitting power against power. Rob starts to get on a roll. He chokeslams Marcus and goes for a powerbomb, but Danger runs in and hits Rob from behind with the title.
WINNER: TERRY by DQ.
Jamin Olivencia runs back out and knocks Marcus out of the ring and chases Timmy to the back.
Marcus goes back after Terry, but Jamin & Ryan Howe run back to the ring and Marcus takes off.
