OVW TV #756: "Could Ali Get Revenge Against Bostic?"

This is the OVW Report for Wednesday, February 12, 2014. This episode can be seen online starting tomorrow at www.ovwrestling.com/tv. In this episode, Mohamad Ali Vaez tries to get revenge on behalf of his partner, Melvin Maximus defends the OVW TV Title against the Bodyguy, Flash & Trash are in action, plus more!

Without further ado:

Here we go...

Pre-Show Dark Matches:

"The Double R Superstar" Randy Royal vs. Robbie Walker.
Robbie with some quick offense, then Royal uses his technical skills to take Robbie down. Robbie comes back with a couple dropkicks and tries to hit a reverse cross body off the ropes. He connects, but Royal rolls through to get the 1-2-3.
WINNER: ROYAL by pinfall.

"The Pastor of Disaster" Rev. Stu Miles comes to the ring once again. He says he always carries two things with him, the "good book" and air freshener (that he continually sprays). He says his water bill is extremely high, because he has to take several showers after being around these people. He tells one lady in the audience that she looks like she's been passed around more than a basketball. He says he will continue to rid OVW of all the scum and blesses everyone.

Ray Lyn vs. Jessie Belle.
Both ladies exchange side headlocks and arm drags, but Jessie Belle reverses a rollup from Ray Lyn and gets the 3 for the win.
WINNER: JESSIE BELLE by pinfall.

That concludes tonight's pre-show dark matches. I always recommend watching the episode first on TV or online before reading the rest of the report. Again, you can check it out on OVW's official website late Thursday afternoon/evening at www.ovwrestling.com/tv and on WBNA ion-21 in the Louisville area Saturdays at 9AM with replays on Wednesdays currently airing at 7PM (check local listings).

Adam Revolver vs. "Wrestling's Rockstar" Ryan Howe.
Howe comes out on fire, working over Adam's arm. Adam goes to the outside, and Howe flies through the ropes and dives onto him. Back inside, Adam ducks a leap from Howe, and Howe comes down on his knee. Adam takes advantage of this, hitting it across the ring apron, and then against the ringpost. He locks in a Figure Four, but Howe reverses it. Howe then works over Adam's leg, hitting it across the ring apron and against the ringpost as Adam had done to him. Adam blocks a move from Howe and tries to hit a reverse Russian Leg Sweep, but Howe reverses it into the armbreaker and makes Adam tap.
WINNER: HOWE by submission.

Gilbert Corsey interviews Jamin Olivencia at ringside. Jamin wants to thank everyone watching at home and in the arena, and says that "we" are the #1 contender. He will bring the compassion, aggression, etc. to the Saturday Night Special.
He is interrupted by Timmy Danger & Marcus Anthony. Timmy has something important to say as the fans yell for him to "shut up" and after he tells the fans to shut up, also gets a "Timmy Sucks" chant. Timmy says that Jamin should be thanking Trailer Park Trash for being #1 contender and that Shiloh Jonze should be, but that doesn't matter. Now that he has weaseled his way into this title match, he said he has taken it easy on him before, but if Marcus locks in the Crimson Omen this time, he may tell him to keep it locked in for 5 minutes, 20 minutes, 30 minutes, he may never release it. Jamin asks him if that's right. He says what if he hits the Standing O and gets the 1-2-3? Jamin says to mark his words, he will walk into the Saturday Night Special as #1 contender, and out as OVW Heavyweight Champion!

J. Best vs. Eddie F. Diamond.
Best works over EFD's arm, but EFD comes back with the Soulja Boy Shuffle and makes Best tap to the Cripwalk Crossface for the win.
WINNER: EFD by submission.

Elvis Pridemoore & Leon Shelly vs. Flash & Trash.
Flash & Trash beat on Elvis and chop him, then chop Leon to death. Trash hangs Leon upside down in the corner and holds him out as Flash goes to the top rope. Flash jumps down and stomps Leon across the chest for the 3.
WINNERS: FLASH & TRASH by pinfall.
After the match, the Marauders run to the ring, but quickly run back after Flash & Trash grab their kendo sticks. Gilbert Corsey interviews them at ringside and Trash says that Shiloh still better keep an eye open until they meet in the kendo stick on a pole match in E-Town on the 22nd. They head toward the back, but get ambushed by the Marauders, who get a hold of the kendo sticks and hit Flash & Trash and leave them laying.

OVW TELEVISION TITLE: The Bodyguy vs. "Mister Marvelous" Melvin Maximus (c).
Bodyguy leaps off the apron and hits Melvin with an axehandle from behind as he was making his entrance. He puts Melvin in a sleeper. As Melvin fights out, Bodyguy headbutts him from the ring. Bodyguy leaps out again, but Melvin catches him with a punch to the gut. He overhead presses Bodyguy back into the ring, and then locks in the Bearhug. Bodyguy taps.
WINNER and STILL OVW TV CHAMPION: MELVIN by submission.

"The Justin Bieber of Professional Wrestling" Dylan Bostic (w/Robo De Luna) vs. Mohamad Ali Vaez.
Ali comes out firing away, but Robo grabs his foot. Dylan hits Ali from behind and works over Ali's injured shoulder. He locks in a sleeper. Ali hits a chinbuster to break it. He misses a leap at Dylan and lands on the shoulder. Dylan goes back to work on it. Ali reverses, and locks Dylan in a sleeper. He punches him and hits 2 suplexes. He goes for a German suplex, but Bostic blocks it. Ali hits him with a Russian leg sweep, though. He goes off the ropes and steps on Robo's hand. He dropkicks Dylan for 2. He locks in a camel clutch, but Dylan reaches the ropes. Dylan goes for the backstabber, but Ali holds on to the ropes. He drops Dylan and hits Robo. Ali & Dylan exchange blows on the outside of the ring apron. Robo comes over which distracts the ref, and Dylan kicks Ali below the belt. Robo hits Ali while the ref checks on Dylan. Robo rolls him in and Dylan gets a 2. Dylan charges at Ali, but Ali ducks, and referee Chris Sharpe gets knocked out. Dylan tells Robo to get him the belt. He goes to hit Ali, but Ali returns the favor, low-blowing Dylan. He hits the neckbreaker, but Sharpe is still out. Robo slides in and spears Ali. Dylan covers Ali and gets the 3.
WINNER: BOSTIC by pinfall.
After the match, Bostic hits a backstabber, and Robo hits another spear for good measure.

This ended the TV taping.

Post-Show Dark Matches:

"The Marauders": Shiloh Jonze & "Rudo" Raul LaMotta (w/Tony Gunn & Nick Dumeyer) vs. "The Welsh Colossus" Rob Terry & "The Party Starter" Bud Dwight.
Big Rob starts out, taking Shiloh down, and Raul doesn't fare any better. Raul gets back in and wants Dwight. Dwight comes in, but falls victim to the Marauders' numbers game. Once Rob gets the hot tag, he powers Raul & Shiloh down and hits them with a double clothesline. Dwight wants back in. He goes to the top rope as Rob goes after Gunn & Dumeyer on the outside, which distracts the ref. Raul hits the ropes, making Dwight fall down awkwardly across the top turnbuckle. Raul then gets underneath Shiloh to give Dwight a massive superplex and they get the 3.
WINNERS: MARAUDERS by pinfall.

This episode of OVW TV will be up online tomorrow. As always, thanks for reading!
