OVW TV #751: "Did Jamin Get His Rematch?"

This is the OVW Report for Wednesday, January 8, 2014. This episode can be seen online starting tomorrow at www.ovwrestling.com/tv. In this episode, Jamin Olivencia talks about his match with Marcus Anthony and the fact he has a rematch clause, Shiloh Jonze speaks to the Marauders and calls out Trailer Park Trash, Mohamad Ali Vaez & Michael Hayes defend their OVW Southern Tag Team Titles, plus more!

Without further ado:

Here we go...

Pre-Show Dark Matches:

Ray Lyn vs. Jessie Belle vs. Lei'D Tapa.
Tapa took it to Ray Lyn (who jumped on Tapa to hug her to start the match) & Jessie Belle, hitting a big boot to Jessie Belle, and finishing Ray Lyn off with the Tongan Death Grip and TKO for the 3.
WINNER: TAPA by pinfall.

"The Mobile Homers" Adam Revolver & Ted McNaler (w/Brittany Devore) vs. Roberto De Luna & Elvis Pridemoore.
Ted & Adam worked over Elvis to start the match. Elvis started firing back on Adam, hitting a couple arm drags and a dropkick. Ted grabs a mic and says he wants to bet $20 that Adam can dropkick Elvis before Elvis can dropkick Adam again. Roberto gets out $20. Adam misses a dropkick, but Elvis does too after Ted holds onto Adam to keep him from running into a dropkick. Adam ends up hitting a dropkick to win the bet. Adam knocks Roberto off the apron. Roberto tries to get in, which distracts the ref, and allows Ted & Adam to hit the Double Wide on Elvis to get the 3.
WINNERS: HOMERS by pinfall.

That concludes tonight's pre-show dark matches. I always recommend watching the episode first on TV or online before reading the rest of the report. Again, you can check it out on OVW's official website late Thursday afternoon/evening at www.ovwrestling.com/tv and on WBNA ion-21 in the Louisville area Saturdays at 9AM with replays Wednesdays at 9PM after WWE Main Event.

Jamin Olivencia comes to the ring. He says he feels like the fans are a big reason that he held on to the OVW Heavyweight Title for so long, and feels like he let them all down. He's not going to make excuses and say that it was Timmy Danger's fault, bottom line is he lost. However, he does have a rematch clause.
Timmy Danger & Marcus Anthony come to the ring and Timmy has something very important to say. He is drowned out by the fans, but says that Jamin isn't cleared and he knows that Jamin has the rematch clause, but it doesn't say when, and it isn't going to be tonight.
They are then interrupted by Chris Sharpe & Jordan Barker. Sharpe says that Jordan is a good young referee, but if he was here for the Saturday Night Special, he would have reversed the decision like he did 2 weeks ago, and the title would go back to Jamin.
OVW Owner Danny Davis then comes to the ring and says that while the decision cannot be reversed, the rematch WILL happen tonight!

OVW TELEVISION TITLE: J. Best vs. 4M: "Mister Marvelous" Melvin Maximus (c) (w/the Bodyguy).
4M completely dominates, hitting 3 big bodyslams and making Best tap to the bearhug.
WINNER and STILL OVW TV CHAMPION: 4M by submission.

Jay Bradley comes out with a towel over his head, gloves, and a mouthpiece. He says he is a shooter, not an entertainer like guys with blond hair who think they are in a rock band. He is going to prove what he can do in a straight up fight and asks for his opponent.
Jay Bradley vs. Leon Shelly.
Jay attacks Leon as the ref is checking him for weapons. He then locks on a cross armbreaker and makes Leon tap.
WINNER: BRADLEY by submission.

Dylan Bostic comes to the ring with Ray Lyn & "The Party Starter" Bud Dwight. He says he keeps getting asked, "Where's Evan Markopoulos?" He says that Evan will no longer be in OVW, because he broke his knee riding a buffalo. He says that he is now searching for a new "wing man" and will be trying several people out until he finds one that can help him win the OVW Southern Tag Team Titles.
OVW SOUTHERN TAG TEAM TITLES: Dylan Bostic & Bud Dwight (w/Ray Lyn) vs. Mohamad Ali Vaez & Michael Hayes (c).
Bostic & Dwight double team Hayes, but he gets the hot tag to Ali. Ali comes in firing away on Dwight and throwing Dylan out of the ring. Ali goes for the pin on Dwight, but Dylan breaks it up. Hayes gets back in and double suplexes Bostic with Ali. He then hits the kneebuster to the face of Dwight, which is followed by Ali's neckbreaker for the 3.
WINNERS and STILL OVW TAG CHAMPIONS: HAYES & ALI by pinfall.
After the match, the Mobile Homers come to ringside. Adam says Ali & Hayes are not the champions, they are. He says Ali & Hayes pinned the illegal man in E-Town. Hayes says they just got beat. Ali then says they can get in the ring and settle this now. The Mobile Homers run in and brawl, but Hayes & Ali get the better of them. Adam & Brittany Devore pull Ted out of the ring before Hayes & Ali can hit their finishers on him.

The Marauders come out, led by Shiloh Jonze. Shiloh says he gave them instructions at the Saturday Night Special, but they failed. He calls them nimrods and says they better prove to him what they are capable of. He calls out Trailer Park Trash & Flash, but only Trash comes to the ring.
Trash wants to know where Shiloh was on Saturday, but Shiloh says it's none of his business, and he will be the one asking the questions. Shiloh wants to now where Flash is. Trash says Indianapolis is shutdown, and Flash couldn't get down I-65 to be here. He still wants to fight them. Shiloh says it will be him and his masked man. Trash hits Dumeyer & Raul, and then takes it to Shiloh and the Masked Marauder. He knocks them all from the ring except for the Masked Marauder, and unmasks Tony Gunn! Trash is stunned momentarily, allowing the numbers game to catch up.
The Marauders gang up on Trash, and Gunn kicks Trash below the belt to end the beating.

OVW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE: Jamin Olivencia vs. "Strongest Gamer Alive" Marcus Anthony (c) (w/Timmy Danger).
Jamin's neck and shoulder area is all taped/bandaged up, as is Marcus' shoulder. Jamin hits Marcus with some quick strikes early, but Marcus powers back and controls most of the match after Danger grabs Jamin's foot causing a distraction. Jamin is in the corner, Marcus charges, but Jamin moves. Marcus goes shoulder first into the ringpost. Jamin goes after his shoulder, hits his kamikaze splash in the corner, and a jumping clothesline. He sets up for the Standing O, but Danger is back on the apron. Marcus comes up from behind to try and lock in the Crimson Omen, but Jamin slides out. Jamin jumps up on the ropes and hits a Standing O off the ropes. He goes for the pin, but Danger pulls referee Chris Sharpe out of the ring. Danger & Sharpe argue, and Danger shoves Sharpe. Sharpe shoves Danger down to the floor and calls for the bell.
WINNER: JAMIN by DQ.
STILL OVW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION: MARCUS.
Jamin is upset and yells at Sharpe that he cost him his opportunity. Sharpe says he had no choice, but to disqualify him. Jamin storms out of the ring arguing with Sharpe on the way back.

This ended the TV taping.

Post-Show Dark Matches:

The Bodyguy (w/4M) vs. Ryan Howe.
Howe with most of the offense until he gets distracted by 4M and misses a kneedrop. Bodyguy misses an attack on Howe in the corner and hurts his knee. Howe kicks him in the knee and takes him down. He locks in a single leg Boston crab for the tapout.
WINNER: HOWE by submission.

Shiloh Jonze (w/Raul LaMotta, Tony Gunn, & Nick Dumeyer) vs. Eddie F. Diamond.
Shiloh gets the early advantage with EFD distracted by the other Marauders at ringside. EFD starts to fire back. Dumeyer is on the apron distracting the ref, which allows Gunn to run in behind EFD and low blow him. Shiloh rolls EFD up for the 3.
WINNER: SHILOH by pinfall.

This episode of OVW TV will be up online tomorrow. As always, thanks for reading!
