OVW TV #742: "Jamin Wants Spade"

This is the OVW Report for Wednesday, November 6, 2013. This episode can be seen online starting tomorrow at www.ovwrestling.com/tv. In this episode, Timmy Danger talks about recent happenings between Jamin Olivencia & Johnny Spade that brings Jamin to the ring, Mohamad Ali Vaez & Michael Hayes wantto finish their Best of 3 series with the Best Team Ever, the new pairing of Dylan Bostic & Evan Markopoulos are in action, plus more!

Without further ado:

Here we go...

Pre-Show Dark Matches:

4M: "Mister Marvelous" Melvin Maximus (w/the Bodyguy) vs. Eddie F. Diamond.
EFD's early offense attempts don't work as 4M powers him down. 4M controls most of the match, but misses 2 elbow drops. EFD comes back and locks 4M in the "Cripwalk Crossface" for the tapout.
WINNER: EFD by submission.

"The Marauders" Flash Flanagan, Nick Dumeyer, & the Masked Marauder (w/Shiloh Jonze, Raul LaMotta, & Joe Coleman) vs. Adam Revolver & "Double Platinum" Ryan Howe & Rockstar Spud.
Adam & Double Platinum have the early control over Dumeyer. Dumeyer gets the tag to Flash, and the Marauders take control over Spud. Spud is finally able to make the hot tag to Howe. Howe comes in on fire, taking everyone down. He hits the Chart Topper on Dumeyer, and that is followed up by a top rope splash from Spud for the 1-2-3.
WINNERS: PLATINUM & REVOLVER by pinfall.

Elvis Pridemoore vs. Stephon J. Baxter III.
This match was over quick as Stephon looked to injure his leg. Elvis makes him tap to a leg submission for the victory.
WINNER: ELVIS by submission.

That concludes tonight's pre-show dark matches. I always recommend watching the episode first on TV or online before reading the rest of the report. Again, you can check it out on OVW's official website late Thursday afternoon/evening at www.ovwrestling.com/tv and on WBNA ion-21 in the Louisville area Saturdays at 9AM with replays Wednesdays at 9PM after WWE Main Event.

Timmy Danger rolls out and talks about his man, John Spade, not getting a title shot. He says Jamin Olivencia doesn't want to face him.
Jamin comes out and says if Danger has something to say, say it to his face. It was hard to hear exactly what Danger said, because the fans were all yelling a combination of "Timmy Sucks" and "Shut Up".
He made a remark about Jamin that Jamin didn't like, and Jamin gets in Danger's face and says to give him Spade, as he is held back by Chris Sharpe. Tonight, Jamin meets Spade in a non-title match.

Robo De Luna & J. Best vs. Evan Markopoulos & Dylan Bostic (w/Ray Lyn).
On the way to the ring, Evan & Dylan take pictures of Ray Lyn, especially as she gets in the ring. Best attacks Bostic from behind and has the advantage until Ray Lyn dances on the steps, distracting Best. Bostic hits him from behind and takes the advantage back for him & Evan. Best eventually gets the tag to Robo, but he is caught with a kick to the gut from Dylan. Dylan tags Evan, hits a backbreaker on Robo, and Evan comes off the top rope with a legdrop for the 3.
WINNERS: EVAN & DYLAN by pinfall.

Backstage, Shiloh Jonze is with the Marauders and says that "we" screwed up at Saturday Night Special. Joe Coleman asks what he means by "we". He starts to argue with Raul LaMotta, and Shiloh says they will settle this like men tonight. Marauder vs. Marauder, and the winner will get a shot at "our" TV Title next week.

Michael Hayes & Mohamad Ali Vaez come out and say that they survived at SNS against Marcus Anthony & Rob Terry. Now they have a team that has beat them one time and they want them to come out. They call out the Best Team Ever and want to finish their Best of 3 Series.
OVW SOUTHERN TAG TEAM TITLE BEST of 3 SERIES (BTE leads 1-0): "The Best Team Ever" Rudy Switchblade & Jessie Godderz vs. Mohamad Ali Vaez & Michael Hayes (c).
A very good back and forth match between both teams, but Ali rolls Jessie up in a small package to take the second fall.
WINNERS: ALI & HAYES by pinfall.
Ali is spent after the first match of the night and can't make the tag to Michael. BTE works over Ali until he can finally make the tag to Michael after Rudy misses a frog splash. Michael comes in firing away, but Rudy breaks up a pin attempt after Michael hits the facebuster off his knees on Jessie. BTE hit the Best Finisher Ever on Michael, but he kicks out. Michael hits the facebuster to Rudy, followed by a neckbreaker from Ali for the victory.
WINNERS and STILL OVW SOUTHERN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS: ALI & HAYES by pinfall.

Backstage, there is a segment involving Evan Markopoulos, Dylan Bostic, Ray Lyn, and the rest of the OVW Femme Fatales. The Bodyguy & 4M walk up after Evan, Dylan, & Ray Lyn leave, and the Femme Fatales walk off calling Bodyguy rude and a jerk.

Jessie Belle vs. Lovely Lylah.
A good start to this match, but it is interrupted by the Bodyguy's music.
Bodyguy & 4M come to the ring and Bodyguy says that they need to leave the ring, because women are ruining the wrestling business. 4M chases Jessie Belle & Lylah off and Bodyguy says there needs to be more room for gorgeousness and gorgeousity.
NO CONTEST.

#1 CONTENDER for the OVW TELEVISION TITLE: Joe Coleman vs. Raul LaMotta.
The other Marauders come to ringside to watch. Coleman has the early advantage until Raul pokes Coleman in the eye. Raul gets in a little offense, until Coleman comes roaring back. Coleman does the push-ups across the back of Raul on the ropes. Shiloh yells at Dumeyer & Flash to attack, which distracts Coleman. Raul tries to roll him up, but gets 2. Coleman hits his finisher on Raul for the 3 and motions to Shiloh that the TV Title will be his next week.
WINNER: COLEMAN by pinfall.

NON-TITLE MATCH: Johnny Spade (w/Timmy Danger) vs. Jamin Olivencia (c).
Another very good match between these two. Spade starts out in control, wearing Jamin out with chops and sleeper holds. Jamin comes back with his kamikaze splashes and reverse splash. Jamin goes for the Standing O, but Spade throws him off. As Jamin backs up into the ropes and goes to run back at Spade, Danger gets up from his wheelchair and trips Jamin. Jamin turns around and yells at Danger, but turns back around into the super kick from Spade.
WINNER: SPADE by pinfall.

This ended the TV taping.

Post-Show Dark Matches:

Hannah Blossom (w/Holly) vs. Lei'D Tapa.
Hannah fires away at Tapa, but Tapa keeps powering her down. Hannah tries to chop Tapa down by going after her leg, but Tapa kicks her away. Tapa catches Hannah in the Tongan Death Grip and then puts her away with the TKO for 3.
WINNER: TAPA by pinfall.

Jay Bradley vs. "The Welsh Colossus" Rob Terry.
Jay hits a big boot to Rob as he tries to enter the ring. Jay hits Rob around the ring. He dives off the apron, but Rob catches him and hits him into the side of the ring. They get back in, and Jay wants to start over. Jay comes back and takes the advantage using every tactic possible to keep him down. It's not enough, though, as Rob powers back, and puts Jay away with the big powerslam for 3.
WINNER: TERRY by pinfall.

This episode of OVW TV will be up online tomorrow. As always, thanks for reading!
