OVW TV #737: "Win or Go Home"

This is the OVW Report for Wednesday, October 2, 2013. This episode can be seen online starting tomorrow at www.ovwrestling.com/tv. In this episode, Jessie Godderz vs. Michael Hayes, Jamin Olivencia wants Moose at SNS, "The Pope" Elijah Burke defends the OVW TV Title against Rockstar Spud, the Femme Fatales compete in a 4-corner tag match, plus more!

Without further ado:

Here we go...

Pre-Show Dark Matches:

"The Justin Bieber of Professional Wrestling" Dylan Bostic vs. Mohamad Ali Vaez (w/Michael Hayes).
Ali with several hip tosses early. Bostic comes back and yells "Who Sucks Now?", but in the middle of one of his yells, Ali gets up and hits him with the neckbreaker drop for 3.
WINNER: ALI by pinfall.

"The Marauders" Shiloh Jonze, Raul LaMotta, & Clint Poe (w/Joe Coleman & Nick Dumeyer) vs. Aaron Sky & The Mobile Homers: Ted McNaler & Adam Revolver (w/Brittany Devore).
The Mobile Homers are still playing with their lottery scratch-off tickets. Ted tells the concession stand to make him a big plate of nachos, because he just won $20! The Marauders attack from behind and Raul steals Ted's ticket. Aaron is worked over for most of the match until he gets the hot tag to Ted. Ted is on fire, but on the outside, Coleman throws Revolver into the ringpost. The ref is distracted by Poe, allowing Shiloh to hit Ted with the handcuffs and Raul gets the pin for 3.
WINNERS: MARAUDERS by pinfall.

Evan Markopoulos vs. Rudy Switchblade (w/"Mr. Pec-Tacular" Jessie Godderz).
Rudy tries for the Boston Crab early, but Evan reaches the ropes. Rudy kicks Evan in the backside a few times around the ring. Evan gets out of the ring and Rudy goes after him. Evan gets in first and tries to drop an elbow, but Rudy rolls back out to avoid it. He tries for the Boston Crab again, but again Evan scampers to the ropes. Rudy goes after him, but Evan pokes him in the eyes to take control. Evan misses a flying legdrop, and Rudy finally locks in the Boston Crab for the tapout.
WINNER: RUDY by submission.

That concludes tonight's pre-show dark matches. I always recommend watching the episode first on TV or online before reading the rest of the report. Again, you can check it out on OVW's official website late Thursday afternoon/evening at www.ovwrestling.com/tv and on WBNA ion-21 in the Louisville area Saturdays at 9AM with replays Wednesdays at 9PM after WWE Main Event.

Jamin Olivencia comes to the ring with a contract in hand and wants James "Moose" Thomas to come out and sign it for a match at SNS.
Timmy Danger comes out on his crutch and tells Jamin that this is not just about a title shot. He calls Jamin egotistic and self-centered. He says he will have his people look over it. Jamin says to have it signed by the end of the night and he shoves Danger to the mat.

Michael Titus is backstage. He tells the Femme Fatales that there will be a 3-corner tag match featuring the teams of the Blossom Twins, Lovely Lylah & Taeler Hendrix, and Ray Lyn & Lei'd Tapa. He turns to Jessie Belle and says that due to injuries in the division, she will not be able to participate since she doesn't have a partner. Jessie Belle asks about finding a partner and goes off to search for one.

OVW TV TITLE: Rockstar Spud vs. "The Pope" Elijah Burke (c).
Before this match can even get started, the Marauders attack both men. The Marauders want the TV Title back. Along with Shiloh Jonze, Joe Coleman, Raul LaMotta, & Nick Dumeyer, were Clint Poe and a masked man dressed in black, who are apparently the two newest members to their group.
NO CONTEST.

Jay Bradley comes to the ring and says that his rematch with Marcus Anthony at SNS is off.
Marcus comes out and says that he is cleared, but wants to be 100% ready for SNS. He has someone, however, who can show him what power is all about.
Jay Bradley vs. "The Welsh Colossus" Rob Terry (w/Marcus Anthony).
Big Rob slings Jay around and shows off his power. Jay rakes Rob's eyes and tries to leave, but gets blocked off by Marcus. Rob brings him back in and clotheslines him over the top rope. Jay gets up and clips Marcus' leg, taking him out. Rob chases Jay to the back and this match is thrown out as Rob and the referees help Marcus to the back.
NO CONTEST.

The Mobile Homers are still playing with scratch-off tickets when Jessie Belle approaches and asks Brittany to team with her. Brittany is too busy with the scratch-offs. We then see the Bodyguy with 4M, trying to rally Elvis Pridemoore, Aaron Sky, the VIP Club, & Stephon J. Baxter III to join him against the Assassin. They ignore him and as Stephon walks off, Jessie Belle grabs him and asks him if he knows anyone she can team with. She then pulls him away and says she has an idea.

4-CORNER FEMME FATALE TAG MATCH: Hannah & Holly Blossom vs. Taeler Hendrix & Lovely Lylah vs. Lei'd Tapa & Ray Lyn vs. Jessie Belle & "Stephon-E".
"Stephon-E" is on fire until (s)he gets unwigged by Ray Lyn to see that it is Stephon J. Baxter III.
The women team up on him and he gets smacked by Taeler and a big boot from Tapa.
Taeler takes the pin to eliminate him & Jessie Belle. Lylah is taken out by the Blossoms next, eliminating her & Taeler. Tapa then eliminates the Blossoms for the win.
WINNERS: TAPA & RAY LYN by pinfall.
After the match, Tapa throws Holly out of the ring and delivers her finisher to Hannah twice.

"Mr. Pec-Tacular" Jessie Godderz (w/Rudy Switchblade) vs. Michael Hayes (w/Mohamad Ali Vaez).
Jessie controls most of the match early. Ali & Rudy get involved and fight in the ring. Ref Chris Sharpe tries to get Ali out, and Rudy kicks Hayes in the gut and Jessie hits a sunset flip. Sharpe turns around and tries to get Rudy out, and Ali kicks Jessie in the face and gets out of the ring. Hayes gets the 3.
WINNER: HAYES by pinfall.

Jamin Olivencia returns to the ring and says it's time.
Timmy Danger comes out and says it's signed, but there is a stipulation. It is no disqualification, and the loser must leave OVW! Jamin gets in Danger's face and says he's defended the title over and over again, and is not scared. Moose runs out, but Jamin sees him and fires away. Danger hits Jamin with the crutch, but Jamin turns around and goes after him.
Moose recovers and grabs the crutch and attacks Jamin from behind. He leaves him laying after hitting him repeatedly and holds up the title to end the show.

This ended the TV taping.

Post-Show Dark Matches:

4M: "Mister Marvelous" Melvin Maximus (w/The Bodyguy) vs. Elvis Pridemoore.
Elvis is on fire early, but gets distracted by Bodyguy. He hits Bodyguy off the apron, but 4M comes up behind him and locks him in a full nelson, causing him to pass out.
WINNER: 4M by submission.

"The VIP Club" Robo De Luna & J. Best (w/"VIP" Joe Rosa) vs. "Double Platinum" Ryan Howe & Rockstar Spud.
Howe & Spud with good double team work early. Rosa trips up Spud on the outside, allowing the Club to gain the advantage. Spud gets a hot tag to Howe. Rosa clubs Howe in the back on the outside as he gets on the apron and yells at Robo & Best that they can't do anything right and are the worst professional wrestlers he's ever seen. Fed up, Robo & Best flip Rosa into the ring. Howe connects with the Chart Topper on Rosa, and Spud follows up with a flying elbow drop for the 3.
WINNERS: PLATINUM by pinfall.

A very interesting stipulation between Moose & Jamin at SNS. What does this mean for one of their futures? It should be a great show. I hope to get a preview for SNS up soon.

This episode of OVW TV will be up online tomorrow. As always, thanks for reading!
