OVWmania Presents: OVW Top 20 (Ed. 37)

This is the OVW Top 20 for the week of January 29-February 4, 2013 exclusively on OVWmania. Each category features the champion followed by the top contenders. After last week's title change on TV and the Saturday Night Special, how have the rankings been shaken up for this week?

TOP 10 SINGLES

DOUG WILLIAMS
 OVW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION
LAST WEEK: The veteran cashed in his #1 contendership early and was successful in winning the OVW Heavyweight Title before successfully defending it in a triple threat against Moose & Johnny Spade at SNS.

#1) JAMES "MOOSE" THOMAS
LAST WEEK: Moose hit the Moose Kick on Doug Williams and was a second away from becoming the new champion until Johnny Spade pulled out referee Chris Sharpe. Will he get another opportunity?

#2) "MR. MULTIMEDIA" CLIFF COMPTON
OVW TELEVISION CHAMPION
LAST WEEK: Cliff ran into a Standing O and lost in tag action to Jamin Olivencia on TV, but at SNS, Cliff was able to steal away the TV Title once again in another brutal ladder match.

#3) "SMOOTH" JOHNNY SPADE
LAST WEEK: Spade's anger issues may be costing him. Although he got what he wanted in a title opportunity and Doug Williams in the same match, Williams caught him in Chaos Theory and pinned him.

#4) FLASH FLANAGAN
LAST WEEK: Flash competed in a barbaric stretcher match and thanks to an assist again from Josette Bynum, was able to put Trailer Park Trash through a door and have him stretchered out.

#5) JAMIN OLIVENCIA
LAST WEEK: Jamin surprised Cliff Compton by jumping up and planting him with a Standing O for a tag team victory last Wednesday, but Cliff was able to steal away the TV Title in a ladder match where Jamin suffered a cracked sternum.

#6) "THE DOUBLE R SUPERSTAR" RANDY ROYAL
LAST WEEK: Randy's undefeated streak since coming back continues as he picks up a win over Jeremiah Plunkett at SNS.

#7) RYAN HOWE
LAST WEEK: The rocker picks up 2 wins this week. A tag team win with Jamin Olivencia over Cliff Compton & Dylan Bostic, and a singles win over Dylan Bostic at SNS propel him back in the rankings.

#8) "THE KING OF PINK" DYLAN BOSTIC
LAST WEEK: After compiling quite a few wins over the last several weeks, Dylan falls in the rankings following a 2 loss week. He didn't take it lightly, attacking Ryan Howe after his defeat at SNS.

#9) "VIP" JOE ROSA
LAST WEEK: VIP makes a grand entrance into his first Top 20 after picking up 2 victories this week. Can he keep it up?

TOP 5 TAG TEAMS

THE COALITION: "General" Crimson & "The He-Man of Homeland Security" Jason Wayne
OVW SOUTHERN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS
LAST WEEK: After terrorizing OVW commentator Gilbert Corsey, the Coalition went on to win twice, including a DQ win to retain the Southern Tag Team Titles over the Gutcheckers.

#1) THE GUTCHECKERS: Sam Shaw & Alex Silva
LAST WEEK: Silva & Shaw thought they had the win and regained the tag titles when the ref counted 3, but didn't realize the match continued and accidentally got disqualified after cracking Jason Wayne in the head with one of the titles.

#2) THE MASCARA MAFIA: Paredyse & Espy
LAST WEEK: Paredyse & Espy got a win over the Mobile Homers at SNS, but seemed uncaring about Brittany Devore getting run over at ringside and even called her a cow.

#3) THE COALITION: "Sergeant Major" Jack Black & "Lieutenant Lats" Joe Coleman
LAST WEEK: Coleman & Black teamed with the tag champions of the Coalition, Crimson & Jason Wayne, to pick up a win in 8-man tag team action last Wednesday.

#4) THE WILD CARDS: Shiloh Jonze & "Rudo" Raul LaMotta
LAST WEEK: Shiloh & Raul picked up a win this week over King Enterprises as they continue to terrorize OVW with the rest of the Coalition.

TOP 5 FEMME FATALES

JESSIE BELLE
 OVW WOMEN'S CHAMPION
LAST WEEK: Jessie Belle's title reign looked to be in jeopardy, but she was able to pull through and come out of SNS still the Women's Champion.

#1) EPIPHANY
LAST WEEK: Epiphany looked like she was about to become the new Women's champion until her head-over-heels in love admirer Eddie Diamond came out and accidentally distracted her enough to cost her the match.

#2) JOSETTE BYNUM
LAST WEEK: Josette interfered once again and helped her man, Flash Flanagan, to defeat Trailer Park Trash. Is she planning to try and take over the company once more?

#3) TAELER HENDRIX
LAST WEEK: Taeler is in need of some anger management following her recent slide. After not being in the title picture much recently, can she control her emotions enough to get back in the hunt?
