OVWmania Presents: OVW Top 20 (Ed. 27)

This is the OVW Top 20 for the week of November 6-12, 2012 exclusively on OVWmania. Last week, we witnessed the fallout from the November SNS as we get set for the December SNS. After last week's events, where do the OVW stars rank this week?

#1) CRIMSON (Last Week: #1)

CURRENT TITLES: OVW Heavyweight Champion

LAST WEEK: Defeated Tony Gunn.

*Regardless of what you think about him, Crimson is still the champion. He proved what he can do in the ring against Tony Gunn last week, but what will happen when he defends for a third time against the new #1 contender, Rob Terry?

#2) ROB TERRY (Last Week: #2)

LAST WEEK: Defeated Jack Black to become #1 contender.

*The Welsh Colossus had to go to the back of the line, but the majority of the OVW locker room bonded together to allow him to get another opportunity due to their hatred of Crimson. Will the third time be the charm for Rob, or will it be 3 strikes and he's out of chances?

#3) TEAM GUTCHECK: Sam Shaw & Alex Silva (Last Week: #3)

LAST WEEK: Defeated Ace Hawkins & Raphael Constantine.

*Shaw & Silva are running on all cylinders and revealed their future plans when they let Rob Terry pass them up on the pecking order. As much as each of them would like to be OVW Heavyweight Champion, it seems as if their sights are set on the OVW Southern Tag Team Titles.

#4) HEIDI LOVELACE (Last Week: #6)

CURRENT TITLES: OVW Women's Champion

LAST WEEK: With Jessie Belle, defeated Taeler Hendrix & Epiphany.

*Heidi continues to soar in the Femme Fatale division with the title. She has yet to hit any real road bumps in defending the gold. Can her success continue? Who will come out of the Femme Fatale locker room next to challenge her?
#5) THE BEST TEAM EVER: Rudy Switchblade & Jessie Godderz (Last Week: #9)

CURRENT TITLES: OVW Southern Tag Team Champions

LAST WEEK: Defeated the Mascara Mafia.

*Living up to their team name once again, Rudy & Jessie appear to be back on their A-game. The only problem they have now is a certain team who are clicking just as well together and are looking to give these guys a "Gutcheck".
#6) JASON WAYNE (Last Week: #8)

LAST WEEK: Assisted Joe Coleman in his match against James "Moose" Thomas.

*Jason Wayne has caught the eye of Moose as the leader of the Platoon blasted him in the back of the head last week. Does Wayne know what he's getting into starting a war with Moose? Even though he's away from the ring, is there a chance Michael Hayes could play into this?

#7) "SMOOTH" JOHNNY SPADE (Last Week: #4)

LAST WEEK: No-contest vs. Doug Williams.

*Spade has tunnel vision right now. Forget the title, forget everyone in the locker room except for Doug Williams. This feud is boiling over as both men are brawling everywhere. Will Spade get another chance to get his hands on Doug at the December SNS or will they come face-to-face even sooner?
#8) JOE COLEMAN (Last Week: #18)

CURRENT TITLES: OVW Television Champion

LAST WEEK: Defeated James "Moose" Thomas to win the OVW TV Title.

*The Platoon's "G.I. Joe" flies up the rankings this week after winning his first ever OVW championship, albeit with some help from the leader Jason Wayne. As long as he has the belt in his possession, you can only imagine the large amount of victory laps we will see.

#9) THE MOBILE HOMERS: Ted McNaler & Adam Revolver (Last Week: #10)

LAST WEEK: Defeated the Wild Cards.

*A very quick and impressive win last week over the Wild Cards, but the OVW fans await to hear word on the condition of Ted McNaler after Raul threw the "rocket fuel" in his eyes following the match.

#10) JAMES "MOOSE" THOMAS (Last Week: #7)

LAST WEEK: Lost to Joe Coleman.

*The big Moose is looking for another big man in Jason Wayne. Moose knows what a real American hero is supposed to look like in his friend Michael Hayes, and it's the complete opposite in what Jason Wayne displays. After costing him the TV title, Moose is ready for war.

#11) JACK BLACK (Last Week: #18)

LAST WEEK: Lost to Rob Terry.

*Black worked hard and you can't blame him for not giving up his spot as others did last week. He made an impressive showing against Big Rob, but came up short. What's next for the Platoon's "Wrecking Ball"?

#12) MASCARA MAFIA: Paredyse & Espy (Last Week: #11)

LAST WEEK: Lost to the Best Team Ever.

*Paredyse & Espy hit a bump in the road last week with a loss, but before they worry about a tag title shot, it looks like Wayne War II will have to be completed first. Last week, they saved their friend Moose from enemy attack, and may have to work with him to take out the Platoon.

#13) DOUG WILLIAMS (Last Week: #13)

LAST WEEK: No-contest vs. Johnny Spade.

*What started as a "favor" for Crimson has turned into quite the rivalry. Doug can't stand Spade and vice versa. With the attacks and battling all over the Davis Arena, what is it going to take for these two to settle their differences once and for all?

#14) JESSIE BELLE (Last Week: #16)

LAST WEEK: With Heidi Lovelace, defeated Taeler Hendrix & Epiphany.

*Jessie has been on quite the roll lately. The wins are racking up and she might very well be positioning herself to be next in line for a shot at the OVW Women's Championship.

#15) THE WILD CARDS: Shiloh Jonze & "Rudo" Raul LaMotta (Last Week: #12)

LAST WEEK: Lost to the Mobile Homers.

*Raul & Shiloh might have lost, and quickly, but seem to have picked up another low tactic from their mentor, Crimson. After their defeat, they blinded Ted McNaler with the "rocket fuel". Have they started something with the Mobile Homers? After all, it's considered a sin to waste good drinkin'.

#16) JOSETTE BYNUM (Last Week: #14)

LAST WEEK: Watched on as a masked man took out the "Trash".

*Josette didn't seem too upset with the man who attacked OVW Director of Operations, Trailer Park Trash. In fact, she seemed too nonchalant about the whole ordeal. Is this the person she has been talking to on the phone? Who is it? And why are they helping her?

#17) RYAN HOWE (Last Week: NR)

LAST WEEK: Defeated "VIP" Joe Rosa.

*Rockin' Ryan is headed back to the top of the charts if he continues to win as he did last week. More wins like that and he will quickly put himself back in title contention in OVW.

#18) TONY GUNN (Last Week: NR)

LAST WEEK: Lost to Crimson.

*Tony made a good showing against the current weasel...err, champion, Crimson, but came up short after Crimson threatened to rip Ralphie's head off. Maybe Crimson needed to consume some happy pills. They seem to work well for Tony.

#19) ELVIS PRIDEMOORE (Last Week: #20)

LAST WEEK: Defeated Jeremiah Plunkett.

*Elvis came right back with a quick win after a bad week the previous week. He'll need more of those to climb up higher the weekly Top 20.

#20) TAELER HENDRIX (Last Week: #19)

LAST WEEK: With Epiphany, lost to Heidi Lovelace & Jessie Belle.

*Taeler again worried too much about trying to be bossy and it cost her. Her partner, Epiphany, left her to fend for herself, and the referee, TNA Knockout Taryn Terrell, has proven she is willing to stand up to Taeler and fight back when push comes to shove. Taeler needs to focus on in-ring performance or risk falling off the Top 20 again.

MISSING THE CUT:
-Chris Silvio
*Silvio wasn't in action this past week, but will face his former "Fighting Spirit" partner next week in a match that could end Raphael Constantine's career.

-Epiphany
*Don't count out Epiphany in the OVW Women's division. The former champion fears no one.

-Dylan Bostic & Eddie Diamond
*After failing to capture the tag titles at November's SNS, will this partnership continue or will they go their separate ways?

KEEP AN EYE ON:
-"VIP" Joe Rosa
*With a big man like Jose Del Barrio in his corner, he definitely poses a threat.
-Cliff Compton
*Cliff still considers himself OVW TV Champion, but was forced to vacate the belt after an injury. He will be looking to reclaim the gold that he never lost once he's cleared to return.
-Raphael Constantine
*Could this be the end, or a new beginning? Raphael is putting everything on the line next week as he battles his former partner, Chris Silvio, with his career hanging in the balance.
