OVWmania Presents: OVW Top 20 (Ed. 20)

This is the OVW Top 20 for the week of September 18-24, 2012 exclusively on OVWmania. As we move closer to the big SNS on October 6, where do the OVW stars rank for this week?

#1) CRIMSON (Last Week: #1)

CURRENT TITLES: OVW Heavyweight Champion

LAST MATCH: Defeated Sam Shaw.

*Crimson is a master manipulator who will use every advantage he can get to move ahead. He tried to do so again last week, but Big Rob turned around to find out that he has been the weasel the entire time. Will he try to talk his way out of this one?
#2) ROB TERRY (Last Week: #2)

LAST MATCH: With Johnny Spade, lost to the Iwi.

*Big Rob finally saw Crimson for what he really is after he no-showed their tag match and then tried to interfere later on. Can Big Rob regain the OVW Heavyweight Title at SNS?

#3) "SMOOTH" JOHNNY SPADE (Last Week: #3)

LAST MATCH: With Rob Terry, lost to the Iwi.

*Can 1 Spade trump 2 Wild Cards? They once again interfered in the Smooth One's business last week. At least Spade was finally able to get Rob Terry to see the light and realize that Crimson has been manipulating everyone since his arrival.
#4) ALEX SILVA (Last Week: #4)

CURRENT TITLES: OVW Television Champion

LAST MATCH: Defeated Onyx.

*Silva continues to gain confidence and experience as the OVW TV Champion. He was able to put down a big challenger in Onyx last week and rolls on through the ranks of OVW.

#5) THE BEST TEAM EVER: Rudy Switchblade & Jessie Godderz (Last Week: #5)

CURRENT TITLES: OVW Southern Tag Team Champions

LAST MATCH: Lost to the Mobile Homers.

*The Best Team Ever stays at #5, but are feeling the heat from the Mobile Homers and Moose & Michael. Can they live up to their name and prove they are the best team when they have to defend the titles?

#6) MOOSE & MICHAEL HAYES (Last Week: #6)

LAST MATCH: Defeated Jeremiah Plunkett & Raphael Constantine.

*Moose & Michael continue winning, but when will they get another shot at the OVW Southern Tag Team Titles?

#7) HEIDI LOVELACE (Last Week: #9)

CURRENT TITLES: OVW Women's Champion

LAST MATCH: Defeated Jessie Belle.

*The lovely new champion continues to win and prove herself. Can she keep the momentum going?

#8) JASON WAYNE (Last Week: #7)

LAST MATCH: Defeated Arik Kristopher.

*The man who demands respect but lacks any for others picks up another win this week. He complained about the focus on women's wrestling in OVW last week, so how does he feel about the Women's Champion, Heidi, leaping over him in this week's rankings?

#9) THE MOBILE HOMERS: Ted McNaler & Adam Revolver (Last Week: #11)

LAST MATCH: Defeated Joe Coleman & Jack Black of BS 2.0.

*Ted & Adam looked focused this week and were even able to thwart off a sneak attack by the Best Team Ever after their win against BS 2.0. Are they getting the next shot at the tag titles?
#10) CHRIS SILVIO (Last Week: #8)

LAST MATCH: Eliminated himself from the Nightmare Rumble at SNS.

*Silvio, Cliff, Silvio, Cliff... The Psychedelic Superstar let his guard down last week and Cliff got one up again on Silvio. The way they keep going back and forth, you know that Silvio will be looking for payback this week.

#11) ROCCO BELLAGIO (Last Week: #12)

LAST MATCH: With Joe Coleman, lost to the team of Moose & Michael Hayes.

*Bolin Services' Jersey representative keeps things interesting in OVW. The Leg Breaker is always a threat and can strike at any time. Who will his next victim be?

#12) EPIPHANY (Last Week: #15)

LAST MATCH: Defeated Taeler Hendrix.

*Epiphany is ready for all opponents, man or woman. She was able to make a statement by defeating the former Women's Champion this week. Could she be next in line for a title shot?

#13) THE WILD CARDS: Shiloh Jonze & "Rudo" Raul LaMotta (Last Week: #16)

LAST MATCH: Both were eliminated from the Nightmare Rumble at SNS.

*The Wild Cards come in this week at Lucky #13. Hopefully they are not superstitious, and they had better have each other's backs because there is a mad former champion looking for revenge.

#14) CLIFF COMPTON (Last Week: #17)

LAST MATCH: Eliminated himself from the Nightmare Rumble at SNS.

*Cliff gets one up again on Silvio and injured the Psychedelic Superstar after repeatedly bashing his head into the steel steps. Will their feud ever be resolved or will they kill each other first?

#15) TAELER HENDRIX (Last Week: #10)

LAST MATCH: Lost to Epiphany.

*The first ever Women's GutCheck winner has been on the losing end of most of her recent battles. She lost her title in the process, and is now left searching for the answer as to why she is struggling.

#16) DOUG WILLIAMS (Last Week: NR)

LAST MATCH: Defeated Randy Royal.

*The TNA Superstar and master technician from across the pond decided to treat the OVW fans to a pure wrestling match with the Double R Superstar and came out on top. Was this a one-night only treat or does Mr. Williams have more he wants to accomplish in OVW?

#17) JOE COLEMAN (Last Week: #18)

LAST MATCH: With Jack Black, lost to the Mobile Homers.

*Coleman thinks he is the biggest dog in the fight whether he is or not. Can he regroup and run some victory laps in the ring this week?

#18) THE IWI (Last Week: NR)

LAST MATCH: Defeated Johnny Spade & Rob Terry.

*The mysterious savages from New Zealand made their presence felt this week by defeating two of the top dogs in OVW, granted it took a foreign object and distractions from the Wild Cards, Crimson, and their manager Mr. 100% in the process. Are the Iwi looking to enter the hot tag team division in OVW also?

#19) SAM SHAW (Last Week: #19)

LAST MATCH: Lost to Crimson.

*Shaw has quickly won over the fans of OVW and had an impressive showing last week, even in a loss to the OVW Heavyweight Champion, Crimson. The TNA GutCheck winner has major potential, and the OVW roster had better be on the lookout.

#20) FABIANO ROLENTO (Last Week: #20)

LAST MATCH: Defeated Iwi #1.

*Fabiano Rolento-to-to is holding on to the final spot, but here's hoping he is back in action next week and continues to climb the rankings. Ole!

MISSING THE CUT:
-Jack Black
*After a couple weeks of inactivity, Black suffered a loss after being pinned in a tag match against the Mobile Homers.

-Ryan Howe
*The rocker was out of action and finds himself out of the Top 20 for the first time since returning to OVW.

-Brandon Espinosa
*Espy got some points for winning last week, but still needs a little bit more before making it back on the Top 20.

KEEP AN EYE ON:
*Randy Royal     *Tony Gunn     *Swag Nation     *The Assassin     *Onyx
*Jessie Belle     *Jeremiah Plunkett     *Raphael Constantine     *AK

DISABLED/INACTIVE:
*Dylan Bostic     *Mohamad Ali Vaez     *Jamin Olivencia     *Randy Terrez

***Special thanks to "Mr. SC" for his input/votes on the Top 20***
